I totally agree with you because I fell into that trap when I first started writing affirmations myself. I was looking through some old journals the other day and had to laugh at just how far-fetched some of my first attempts were.</description>

		<description>I think the most important from the list is #5. Most people I know fall into the trap of magical thinking, and affirm some really wild stuff. And all it does is make them feel upset because it reminds them of how much the difference is between where they are right now and where they want to be.
